I've been playing around with the In Good Taste suite and wish to share a design.
This was for a workshop I ran, showing ladies how to heat emboss.
'Just Saying Hello' was perfect for embossing.
I used:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Petal Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Night of Navy and Gold Foil
DSP: In Good Taste
Dies: Tasteful Labels Dies and Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies
Ink: Petal Pink,Versamark and Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamp Set: Tasteful Touches
Ribbon: Organdy Striped Ribbon - Petal Pink
Gold Embossing Powder
Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
Sprig punch
Multipurpose Glue
Dimensionals
Sponge Dauber
Heat gun
The card is 1/2 A4 sheet of white cardstock.
It was layered with Petal Pink which is embossed using embossing folder.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and then gold embossed with the heat gun. It was then die-cut.
The backing for the sentiment was cut from the DSP and halved and attached to sentiment with each end exposed. The ribbon was then attached and then attached to the card front.
A flower was stamped in black and sponged in pink ink. It was then fussy cut and using dimensionals attached to the card front.
The leaves were punched from the gold foil and pear pizzazz cardstock. The smaller leaves were die cut from the blue cardstock. They were then glued behind the flower.
The inside of the card was stamped with the flower and inked with the dauber.
The envelope front was also stamped with the flower and pink ink was applied using the dauber.
Although I had a template for the girls to follow, they added their own style and went away with their own creation.
