A lazy Sunday afternoon saw this creation. I had been playing with the new Prized Peony Dies and love the options available when creating a Peony. Die cut from coloured or white cardstock, sponged using your favourite colours, raised with dimensionals....
I used the edge die on the front and added DSP to the front and a thin strip inside the card.
A strip of the DSP in Petal Pink was added, then a strip of Petal Pink Striped Organdy ribbon.
The peony was cut from white cardstock, then sponged with petal pink and a hint of Wink of Stella added the final touch. I don't think the photo shows the glitter but it does look lovely.
The leaves were cut from Basic Gray and Gray Granite. The other 'leaves' were in Petal Pink and Whisper White from Flourish Thinlit Dies. These are great for any added dimension for a card.
The gray leaves overhang the opening slightly.
Finally some Elegant Faceted Gems were placed in the top right hand corner.
