Kylie Bertucci's Training Program Blog Hop March 2020

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration.

We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

My project for this hop today is Happy Birthday Lion. When I first saw this Suite I new it would suit babies, children and adults young at heart. I have used the Birthday Bonanza Suite from Mini Catalogue (p32).

I started with Bermuda Bay cardstock (1/2 A4 size cardstock) and layered with the lion DSP.

Using the Dies, I cut two tags, one in Whisper White cardstock and another in DSP.

They were tied together with the Daffodil Delight Ribbon.

The sentiment was stamped towards the lower edge of the tag leaving room for the lion. Happy Birthday was stamped in Memento.

To create the lion I stamped the body and the face in Daffodil Delight.  The head and tip of the tail were stamped using Mango Melody.

The face was stamped in Memento and his hat in Bermuda Bay.

The hat was stamped in Bermuda Bay and cut out. I used Bermuda Bay ink to help tie in with the base of the card.

I assembled the pieces, adding a pom pom on the hat.

Finally  I attached the lion to the tag using dimensionals  and the tag to the card front.

A list of supplies is below.

It was very easy to change the colour combinations with this suite. I made a Toucan card using the same principles.
