Peony Love & Thanks

At my last workshop the ladies created this "Love & Thanks to a Dear Friend" card.

We used the Peony Garden Suite.

The Whisper White cardstock base was die-cut with the scalloped edge, using Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

A piece of DSP was added to the front and a small strip placed inside.

A rectangular strip of DSP was edged and attached.

A white piece of cardstock was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

The small twig was die cut from the Flourishing Phrases set in Gray Granite.

Shimmer ribbon - Gray Granite was attached.

For the peony itself, we embossed Petal Pink cardstock using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, then die cut the peony shapes and assembled them.

The leaves were cut from Soft Sea Foam and Pear Pizzazz.

The flower was attached using dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Gray Granite, cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits.

To finish off three Elegant Faceted Gems were added.

Such a lovely suite to work with.

My ladies worked really well to combine all aspects of this card.
