Large Peony Happy Birthday

I thought I would share another Spotlight Technique card. I'm still experimenting but I was pleased with the result.

I've used the Peony Garden Suite. This DSP is ideal for colouring. 

My colour scheme is Basic Gray, Seaside Spray and Whisper White. 

I used the Layering Circles to make the spotlight. The scalloped circle was die cut in Seaside Spray.

The peony was coloured with Seaside Spray and Old Olive blends. 

The cardstock was layered onto Whisper White.  The DSP was attached. 

Small leaves from were cut from Forever Lovely Dies (retired).

Banners Framelits (retired) were used to cut the banner. It was stamped with a sentiment from Sending You Thoughts.

The sentiment was attached with dimensionals on top of Polka Dot ribbon. 

The leaves were added, the bow tied and some of the Elegant Faceted Gems were added for bling. 

I love the colour scheme and was pleased with my result.
