PEONY DAINTY DIAMONDS

Welcome to August everyone.

I'd like to share with you a card we made at my last workshop.

I don't think the photo does the card justice.

I used Very Vanilla, Mint Macron and Gray Granite. 

The peony was inked with Petal Pink. Against the Very Vanilla is appears orange. 

I used the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder on Very Vanilla.

I layered this with a Square Vellum Doily, a scroll of Gold Thread was attached and the peony was attached with dimensionals. 

The leaves were cut using the Flourishing Phrases Dies and placed behind the flower. 

The piece of cardstock was wrapped in Linen thread and tied with a knot. 

The whole piece was attached to the  card base.  

I felt the card didn't need a sentiment. 

The peony itself is very easy to assemble. It was die cut on to Very Vanilla cardstock and sponged with a dauber in Petal Pink. 

The ladies at my workshop were very pleased with the result. I was too.
