Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Jill Goddard: Merry Christmas Poinsettia

I've had a lovely day playing with my new products: Poinsettia Place Suite.

I love the Plush Poinsettia Speciality Paper.

The Poinsettia Dies cut and emboss beautiful flowers and leaves.

The DSP has a range of patterns and prints.

The Bearded Pearls, not used here, are very classy.

Now for the card shown here.

I used Soft Suede cardstock to form the card. I also cut the branches and layer for the sentiment.

Using Rectangle Stitched Dies, I cut a piece of the flocked paper. I made sure that a poinsettia was showing towards the right hand side of the rectangle (not sure if you can see this in the photo).

It was then attached to the DSP and a piece of Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon was wrapped around the DSP.

This whole sheet was glued in place.

Using the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set I stamped a flower and the sentiment in Crumb Cake.

Using a dauber I sponged the centre of the flower in Bumblebee.

Using the dies I cut the branches in Bumblebee and Pear Pizazz.

A centre for the flower was die cut out of Bumblebee.

The centre was then glued to the flower, which was then attached with dimensionals.

The branches were then glued under the flower.

The sentiment was layered with dimensionals.
